THE SCOTS’ MEMBERSHIP MEDALS

The Membership Committee has re-issued the Society’s Members’ Medal as it was traditionally worn in the 1800's.  Members are invited to drop by the Society Office to view the medal. For those who wish to place an order, simply fill out the order form.

  • Annual New Year's Levee Tour - January 1 - A tour of traditional Halifax Levees and participation in the Society's own Levee held in association with St. Matthew's United Church.

  • Kilted Ski Day - January (weather permitting).

  • May Social - A delightfully casual event prior to the summer season.

  • Kilted Gold Tournament - June/July.

  • Halifax Highland Games - Early July, one of Canada's premier Highland Games.

  • Society Newsletter - Mailed quarterly to every member, it lists current Scottish events and other information of interest to the Scottish community.

AN INVITATION TO MEMBERSHIP

Membership in The Scots: The North British Society is open to persons of Scottish relationship (by descent, marriage, or affiliation) and to all others having an interest in the Scottish culture.

Each membership application, addressed to the Secretary, should be accompanied by payment of the current entrance fee and applicable annual dues.
